By becoming a part of our growing and vibrant community, you gain access to professional development opportunities and resources that can elevate your work and the success of your advisees. You also get priority access to our annual virtual conference and a place in our member directory with recognition appropriate to your level of expertise in the field!
What you will need:
- A current résumé of professional experiences relevant to advising aspiring student-athletes
- If available, a copy of any marketing, promotional, or professional materials currently in use that inform your advising work
- Your business website URL or school/community organization athletic recruiting page if applicable
- List of colleges you have visited in person, virtually, hosted at your institution, or explored significantly at a college fair
- List of the colleges your advisees have matriculated to, their sport(s) and the number of students to each school
- Contact information for two professional references
- Recommended peers: professional educators (this category includes IEC’s) familiar with your work through supervision or collaboration, current or recently employed college athletic professionals, current PAC members familiar with your work in this space
- Recommenders cannot be related to you
- Payment of $100 non-refundable processing fee, to be applied toward first-year dues of $250 on approval of your application.
- Time to prepare materials and answer questions as directed to complete your professional membership portfolio submission
